Become (and remain) a member!
Support the Texas Chapter of the American Fisheries Society today by joining or renewing your membership! It’s easy so don’t delay! Membership is on a calendar basis and expires December 31 of each year. Starting November 15th, you may pay your dues for the following year (example, if you pay on 11/15/25, your 2026 dues are paid).
There are two options for renewing your membership:
Option 1: Join the Society and the Texas Chapter – By visiting the American Fisheries Society webpage (https://fisheries.org/membership/join/), you can begin the process of renewing your Society membership and your TCAFS membership. On the AFS website, select the membership tab, and then select the join or renew button. The process should take about 10 minutes to complete. The cost of membership to the Society is $115 for professionals and $30 for students. You can then opt to also join the Texas Chapter at an additional rate of $12 for professionals and $5 for students. Benefits: Access to online journals, scholarships, continuing education opportunities, plus all benefits of joining the Texas Chapter.
Option 2: Join only the Texas Chapter – Please fully complete the form below and make the payment. The cost to join only the TCAFS is $12 for professionals and $5 for students. Benefits of Being a TX Chapter Member: Joining the Texas Chapter allows you to vote on chapter business and hold committee chair positions. NOTE: If you would like to vote for and/or hold a TCAFS Elected Officer Position (President, President-Elect, VP, Secretary, or Treasurer), you must be a member of the Society.
