Meeting and Room Registration Information!!<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Registration for the 2025 TCAFS Annual Meeting is now live! The deadline for early registration and room reservation is Wednesday, December 25th, 2024.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Group Registration Form:<\/strong> Please use the following form if you wish to register as part of a group or have one single individual paying for your university\/organization. The payment contact listed on the form will receive a PayPal invoice from Stephen Curtis after submission. TCAFS 2025 Group Registration<\/a><\/p>\n

Room Reservations:\u00a0<\/strong>Rooms for the 2025 TCAFS Annual Meeting may be reserved either by calling the The Hilton College Station at (979)-693-7500 or via their website using the TCAFS conference link provided here: Hilton College Station Reservation Link<\/a><\/p>\n

Abstract Submission<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Abstract submission for the 2025 TCAFS Annual Meeting to be held January 16-18, in College Station, TX, is now closed. Authors will be notified of abstract acceptance by January 3, 2025. If you have questions about the status of your submission please contact Kelley Kowal (kelley.kowal@tpwd.texas.gov.)<\/p>\n

Student Travel Award for College Station Meeting<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The Texas Chapter would like to extend an invitation to current undergraduate and graduate students (as of the spring 2025 semester) to apply for a student travel award for the 2025 TCAFS Annual Meeting. \u00a0The awards will be provided as a check to each recipient with funds intended to defer a portion of the travel costs associated with attendance of the annual meeting.\u00a0 The total number and amount of student travel awards to be supported are contingent upon available funding. \u00a0The deadline for applications is this\u00a0Sunday, January 12th<\/strong>.\u00a0 Travel awards will be announced and checks issued at the 2025 TCAFS Awards Banquet.<\/p>\n

Texas Chapter Student Scholarships<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The 2025 Texas Chapter of the American Fisheries Society (TCAFS) Scholarship window has officially closed. Thank you to all those who have applied!<\/p>\n

Scholarship recipients will be selected based on their academic excellence, professional activities, promise of future professional involvement, and contributions to the field of fisheries science.<\/p>\n
