            Apparently some\u00a0<\/span><\/b>AFS members are being told\u00a0<\/span><\/b>that no rooms are available for the AFS meeting in Bossier City when\u00a0<\/span><\/b>you call the Holiday Inn reservations desk. However, this is not true, you just have to ask for the\u00a0<\/span><\/b>\u201cSALES\u201d office in order to reserve a room that has been set aside\u00a0<\/span><\/b>for the AFS meeting. The phone number for the Holiday Inn is (318) 742-9700 and be sure to\u00a0<\/span><\/b>mention your with the AFS 2000 meeting when talking to the SALES\u00a0<\/span><\/b>office.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

            We have reserved a block of 125 rooms for January 23 and 24. The cutoff date\u00a0for the guaranteed room rate is January 3, 2000. The room rate is $65 per room,\u00a0regardless of single, double, triple or quad. The room rate does not include\u00a0the 11% tax or the breakfast buffet. Individuals are responsible for their own reservations and payment.<\/span><\/p>\n
