TCAFS Annual\u00a0Meeting March 2-4, 2007<\/span><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s annual meeting will be held at\u00a0the Cherotel Brazosport Hotel and Conference Center in Lake Jackson, TX on March
\n2-4, 2007.\u00a0 A special session will be held on \u201cRestoration, Creation and\u00a0Recovery of Wetlands\u201d.\u00a0 We hope to show attendees innovative ideas on how they\u00a0can manage wetlands, whether far inland or along the coast.\u00a0 \u00a0If you are\u00a0interested in participating in this special session, please contact Craig Bonds\u00a0or Art Morris as soon as possible. As always, we welcome contributed papers and\u00a0poster presentations from all areas of aquatic research and management. We also\u00a0strongly encourage student participation\/involvement with this meeting. Authors\u00a0should refer to the \u201cCall for Papers\u201d to learn how to submit their work for\u00a0presentation at this meeting. <\/span><\/p>\n

Other highlights of our meeting will include\u00a0a Continuing Education Workshop on Friday afternoon and a Student\/Professional\u00a0Mixer on Friday evening at SeaCenter Texas \u2013 TPWD\u2019s largest marine fish hatchery\u00a0and visitor center. Our annual banquet and live auction will be held on Saturday\u00a0night at the hotel. There will be Contributed Paper Sessions all day Saturday\u00a0and on Sunday morning. Poster Presentations and Business Vendor Exhibits will be\u00a0available to you during the entire meeting. Our meeting will conclude by noon on
\nSunday. <\/span><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s meeting will be held over a\u00a0weekend (Friday-Sunday), so please bring your family and take advantage of the\u00a0many attractions available in the Lake Jackson\/Freeport area.
