January\u00a027-31, 2009<\/span><\/b> \u00a0<\/span>The Texas Chapter\u00a0<\/span><\/span>of the American Fisheries Society (TCAFS) and Texas Parks and Wildlife\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Department are hosting a 4-day Conference which will include a Golden Alga\u00a0<\/span><\/span>International Symposium and the TCAFS Annual meeting.\u00a0 The combined Meeting will\u00a0<\/span><\/span>convene January 27\u2013 31, 2009 in Fort Worth, Texas (USA) at the Radisson Fort\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Worth Fossil Creek Hotel.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Golden Alga Symposium<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The International\u00a0symposium will consist of invited speakers from around the world and the U.S.\u00a0The purpose of the symposium is to provide a venue to present up-to-date\u00a0research and management options concerning this harmful alga. \u00a0The symposium\u00a0will include a plenary presentation, panel discussion on areas for continued\u00a0research and management development and a poster session to allow additional\u00a0information exchange.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Texas Chapter of the American The TCAFS annual\u00a0meeting will include a special session focusing on red tide, blue-green, and\u00a0other harmful algae species as well as general sessions covering both inland and\u00a0coastal fisheries.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Key Dates<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
