A host bar with beer and wine will be provided.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Plenary Session<\/strong> (Friday, 8:00 \u2013 10:00 am) Invited speakers will present information on \u201cDrought and its\u00a0effects on Texas fisheries\u201d from a range of perspectives. Presenters include;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dr. John Nielsen-Gammon, Texas State Climatologist, Office of the State Climatologist, Atmospheric\u00a0Sciences at Texas A&amp;M University, College Station, TX; \u201cWhat do we know about future drought?\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Dr. Thomas B. Hardy, Chief Science Officer, The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment,\u00a0Department of Biology, Texas State University, San Marcos, TX; \u201cApplication of unmanned aerial\u00a0vehicle supporting Guadalupe Bass restoration during drought\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Dr. James Tolan, Fisheries Ecologist with TPWD Coastal Fisheries and an Adjunct Professor in the\u00a0Physical and Life Sciences Department at Texas A&amp;M University, Corpus Christi; \u201cHow much doesthe color blue weigh?\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The session will end with a question and answer period for the speaker panel.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lunch<\/strong> (Friday, time period TBD) Friday\u2019s lunch will be on your own, including the Student-Mentor\u00a0Lunch.
