First Call for Oral and Poster Presentations for the 2018 Western Division American Fisheries Society Annual Meeting, \u201cChange, Challenge, and Opportunity in Fisheries: Fishing for Solutions\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The 2018 Western Division American Fisheries Society annual meeting will be hosted by the Alaska Chapter American Fisheries Society and will be take place\u00a0May 21-25 2018<\/span>\u00a0at the Egan Center in Anchorage, Alaska.\u00a0\u00a0Oral and poster presentation abstract submissions\u00a0are now open<\/strong>\u00a0and are due by\u00a0March 5, 2018<\/span>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Abstracts for oral and poster presentations are limited to 300 words or less.\u00a0\u00a0Detailed guidelines, recommendations, and the link to submit an abstract can be found at:\u00a0http:\/\/wdmtg.fisheries.org\/1344-2\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Symposia presenters<\/strong>: During your submission you will have the option to identify your symposium.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Contributed oral presentations<\/strong>: Please select \u201cContributed Paper\u201d from the list of Symposia during the submission process.\u00a0\u00a0Alternatively, if you feel your abstract fits into one of the pre-determined symposia topics please check the appropriate box.\u00a0\u00a0Note: assignment of contributed papers to symposia will be at the discretion of the Program Committee and Symposia Chairs.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n If you have any questions about contributed papers and posters for the upcoming WDAFS meeting, please contact Lisa Stuby at:\u00a0lisa.stuby@alaska.gov<\/a><\/p>\n Any questions re. meeting symposia, please contact your respective chairperson.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
