The International Fisheries Section is offering an<br \/>\nEditorial Assistance Program to assist overcoming this potential barrier. The goal of the<br \/>\nprogram is to provide editorial comments and feedback on final drafts of peer-reviewed<br \/>\nmanuscripts from fisheries scientists with English as a second or foreign language. The service is<br \/>\nonly to provide assistance before a manuscript is submitted to a journal for review. With<br \/>\nenough volunteers, requests for editorial assistance should not be a burden.<\/p>\n<p>This is an excellent way to become involved in the section and with the greater international<br \/>\nfisheries community.
