Coastwide found a forever home in 2018 with the AFS Genetics Section, although the collaboration has been going on for decades. The first official Section-sponsored conference was in Mukilteo, Washington, in June 2018, and the second was in Boise, Idaho, in June 2023. Coastwide was a month earlier in 2025 to avoid Alaska’s tourist season.<\/div>\n
